This class was built around one idea: when you understand the principles behind haircutting, you stop focusing on steps to memorize and start making confident decisions that allow you to create.
We'll work through two live haircut demonstrations and break down the thinking behind each decision - from the initial consultation to the finished result. You'll learn cutting techniques like: shear work, fading, and shape-building, but more importantly, you'll understand why those techniques are being used and how to adapt them to the individual sitting in your chair. Because intentional haircutting starts before we pick up our tools.
My goal isn't to send you home with another haircut to memorize, it’s to give you a foundation you can apply to every haircut that comes after. Because with a strong foundation, you can approach each client with more confidence and create work that feels like your own.
