There’s a difference between cutting hair and understanding it.

We’re not just going through the motions. We’re getting clear on why each choice is made, because intentional cutting starts with intentional thinking.

From the first section to the final detail, I’ll walk you through the full decision-making process behind creating strong, customized cuts. We’ll break down shear work, fading, and shape-building. I’m not just showing you how to do them, but how to do them with purpose.

I’ll be cutting two live models and showcasing two different haircuts, each one offering a unique approach and opportunity to zoom in on the details. You'll see how I adapt my techniques in real time, based on the hair in front of me.

This is for anyone who wants to level up their cutting skills and sharpen their eye.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to assess before you cut - reading density, movement, and growth patterns.

  • Building intentional shapes by reverse-engineering the cut from the end result.

  • Thoughtful shear cutting - precision, fluidity, and intention in every stroke.

  • Controlled fading - creating clean, soft, tailored transitions.

  • Blending tools and techniques for a cohesive, elevated result.

  • The mindset shift that turns a routine cut into a custom one.
